Which personalizer is best for craft fair sellers moving online?
Print It My Way replicates the in-person customization conversation online. Real Free plan, live preview (customer sees their input just like you'd hold up a physical sample), and optional approval workflow (proof PDF replaces in-person review). Ideal for craft fair sellers who know their customization but haven't structured it for e-commerce.
Step-by-step setup
- List your usual craft fair customization. What questions do you ask in person?
- Install Print It My Way. Free plan for testing.
- Add fields for each in-person question. Text, dropdown, upload.
- Add proof approval workflow. Replaces in-person review.
Replicating the in-person conversation
At a craft fair, you ask:
- What name / word do you want?
- Which font: script or block?
- Which color combo?
- Any specific date or year?
Online with Print It My Way, each becomes a structured field. Customer answers each; you see the answers on the order.
Live preview replaces sample
At a fair, you hold up a similar item. Online, live preview shows the customer's name in their chosen font on the product mockup. Same visual confirmation, without you present.
Approval workflow for high-value orders
For orders >$100, offer approval. Print It My Way generates a proof PDF, emails to customer, pauses production. Replaces the "is this what you wanted?" moment at the fair.
Common craft-fair-friendly fields
- Text (name, date, phrase)
- Font picker (script + block)
- Color swatch
- Style dropdown (traditional / modern)
- Size dropdown
- Upload (photo for portrait products)
