Did anything change for Shopify sellers after the Printful+Printify Fyul merger?
Almost nothing visible, as of 2026. Both apps still exist independently on the Shopify App Store with their original names. Both catalogs stay separate. Both pricing structures unchanged. Both fulfillment SLAs unchanged. The merger is a corporate-parent event. Fyul owns both brands, but the merchant-facing product experience is intact. Fyul has not (yet) launched a unified dashboard, shared catalog, or forced migration.
Step-by-step setup
- Verify both apps still work. Log into your Shopify admin > Apps. Printful + Printify apps should function normally.
- Check for any unified admin features. As of 2026, Fyul hasn't shipped a unified dashboard. Watch for future announcements.
- Continue business as usual. No migration needed. Both apps independent.
What hasn't changed
- Printful Shopify app: same install URL, same UI, same catalog
- Printify Shopify app: same install URL, same UI, same 85+ provider network
- Pricing for both brands
- Fulfillment SLAs (Printful 2-5 business days, Printify varies by provider)
- Merchant accounts (separate logins for each brand)
- Order sync, print-file generation, mockup tools
What might change in 2026-2027
- Shared catalog: Printify might onboard some Printful-quality standards; Printful might add Printify's third-party providers for niche items
- Unified dashboard: a single admin view covering both brands' orders and fulfillment status
- Smart routing: orders auto-route to whichever brand's facility is fastest/cheapest for that product+destination
- Consolidated billing: one invoice from Fyul instead of separate Printful + Printify charges
What Shopify sellers should do now
Nothing. Continue your existing workflow. Publish products to Printful or Printify or both. Watch for Fyul announcements about unified features and evaluate them when they land.
If you're personalizing products with Print It My Way, that's fully independent of the Fyul merger, line-item properties flow to either brand identically.

Do I need to update my Printful or Printify Shopify app after the Fyul merger?
No. Both apps continue independently with no forced updates.
Has Fyul launched a unified dashboard for both brands?
Not as of 2026. Corporate integration is at parent level only.
Are Printful and Printify apps going to be discontinued?
No announced plans. Both brands operate as sister companies under Fyul.
Will Fyul launch its own Shopify app?
None announced. If they do, expect a long transition period with both original apps continuing.
Does personalization software care about the merger?
No. Personalizer apps like Print It My Way integrate via Shopify line-item properties, which are POD-partner-agnostic.
