Route different products to different POD partners

How multi-partner works
Shopify itself routes each line item to its assigned fulfillment provider based on the product setup. Print It My Way's personalization data (line-item properties) flows to whichever POD partner is assigned per product. Common pattern:
- Apparel (t-shirts, hoodies) → Printful (best quality)
- Mugs, phone cases → Printify (cost + variety)
- Canvas, posters → Gelato (local NA/EU fulfillment)
Setup
- Install all POD partner apps you'll use (Printful, Printify, Gelato).
- Set each product's fulfillment provider in Shopify Admin → Products → Fulfillment location.
- Print It My Way's line-item properties automatically flow to whichever partner is assigned.
Watch for shipping split
Multi-partner orders may ship in multiple packages from different facilities. Set customer expectations clearly ("Ships from multiple facilities — arrival may be staggered by 1-3 business days").
