- Hide personalization upcharges for wholesale. Decide whether wholesale customers should pay the same upcharges as retail. Common pattern: skip 'gift wrap' upcharges (irrelevant for B2B) and skip 'rush production' fees (B2B orders pre-plan).
- Enable CSV bulk upload for B2B accounts. Wholesale customers ordering 100+ units need CSV bulk upload, not per-unit entry. Enable the CSV field as required for wholesale orders.
- Set up the approval workflow. B2B orders are usually expensive enough to warrant proof approval. Configure 'Require proof approval' on wholesale orders so production doesn't start until the corporate buyer signs off.
- Configure net-terms checkout if applicable. Shopify Plus B2B supports net 30/60/90 terms. Wholesale orders can complete checkout without immediate payment; Print It My Way still attaches the personalization data.
- Test the full B2B flow. Log in as a wholesale customer (tagged appropriately), pick a personalizable product, upload a CSV of 50 names, see wholesale pricing applied, place order on net terms, receive proof for approval. End-to-end.

- Flat percentage discount: 'Wholesale: 30% off retail'. Simple. Works for established wholesale relationships.
- Quantity tiers: 'Wholesale: 25+ units 25% off, 100+ units 40% off, 500+ units 50% off'. Scales with volume.
- Negotiated per-account: each wholesale account has its own pricing table. Used for large enterprise customers.

Do I need Shopify Plus for B2B personalization?
Shopify Plus offers the most complete B2B feature set (company accounts, net terms, custom catalogs). On standard Shopify, you can achieve most of this via wholesale customer tags + a third-party B2B app.
Can wholesale customers see different personalization options?
Yes. Some fields can be wholesale-only (e.g. 'company logo upload') and others retail-only (e.g. 'gift message').
How does net-term checkout interact with personalization?
Personalization data attaches to the order at checkout. Payment terms don't affect when production starts (configurable, usually 'on approval' for net-term orders).
Can a B2B customer save designs for reuse?
