Per-color image
Upload 8 color photos to product media. Assign each to all variants of that color (Small Red, Medium Red, Large Red). Product page swaps on color select.
Inventory strategy
Common: full inventory across all sizes of popular colors, low inventory across all sizes of niche colors. Track per variant.
