Setup

  1. Product → Variants → Add option 'Size'
  2. Enter values (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)
  3. Each auto-generates a variant
  4. Set per-size inventory + price

UI: buttons vs dropdown

2-6 sizes: buttons. 10+ sizes (shoe sizes): dropdown. Dawn theme uses buttons by default.

Sizing chart

Store size chart as metafield or dedicated page. Link from product page: 'View sizing chart'. Modal or new page — both work.

Sold-out sizes

Strikethrough shows 'we have XL, just not right now'. Better UX than hiding.

Frequently asked questions

Buttons for 2-6 sizes. Dropdown for 10+ (shoe sizes).
