Step 1: Add options
- Shopify admin → Products → your product
- Scroll to Variants section → Add options like size or color
- Enter option name (Size) + values (S, M, L)
- Repeat for Color and Material (max 3 options)
Step 2: Configure each variant
Shopify auto-generates all combinations. Edit each variant's SKU, price, inventory count, weight in the Variants table.
Step 3: Add variant images
Upload images to Product → Media, then in each variant → Edit variant → assign the color-specific image. Product page updates as customer selects.
Step 4: Test on storefront
View live product page. Confirm dropdown/buttons render, variant image updates, price updates, sold-out states work.
