Weight unit consistency
Store setting: default unit (g or lb). All variants use this. Mixed units = wrong shipping totals.
Dimensional weight
Large-but-light products (canvas prints) — carriers charge by dim weight, not actual. Some carriers integrate dim weight in Shopify Shipping calculation.
Bulk update weights
CSV export → Variant Weight column → edit → re-import. Fastest for 100+ variants.
