Install Print It My Way from the Shopify App Store

What you need before install

• An active Shopify store (any plan — Basic, Grow, Advanced, or Plus)
• Online Store sales channel enabled (Shopify Lite / Buy Button–only stores don't have the block architecture the app needs)
• A Shopify 2.0 theme (Dawn, Refresh, Sense, Crave, Studio, Trade, etc.) — vintage themes work in fallback mode but modern themes are recommended

Install steps

1. Go to the Print It My Way app listing on the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Install app (or Add app).
3. Review the requested permissions and approve.
4. You'll land on the Print It My Way dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

What happens after install

On first launch you'll see:

• A welcome onboarding flow suggesting your first personalizer template
• The dashboard with tiles for Personalizers, Option Groups, Orders, and Settings
• A prompt to enable the app embed in your theme (next article)

Uninstalling later

If you decide the app isn't for you, uninstall from your Shopify Apps page. Widgets disappear from product pages immediately. Historical orders keep their personalization data on the line items — that data lives on Shopify orders, not on Print It My Way's servers, so it remains accessible after uninstall.
