Test the personalizer on your storefront

Three checks in a row
- Product page renders the field. Open the product where you attached the personalizer. The field should appear (text input, dropdown, upload button, etc.) — usually near the add-to-cart button.
- Cart shows the input. Fill in the field, add to cart. Open the cart page — your input should appear under the product name (e.g., "Engraving: Sarah").
- Order captures the data. Complete a test checkout (Shopify has a Test Payments option for stores in trial mode, or use a real card for $0.01). Open the order in Shopify admin — line-item properties should appear on the order detail.
If any step fails
- Field not rendering → Widget not showing troubleshooting
- Cart missing properties → Cart-drawer template issue
- Order missing properties → Personalization not in order
