Widget not showing on product page — 6 fixes

Diagnostic checklist

  1. Is the app embed enabled? Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → Print It My Way toggle should be ON. See detailed guide.
  2. Is a personalizer attached to this specific product? Print It My Way dashboard → Personalizers → your template → Attached products list. If not attached, no widget will render.
  3. Is the product page using the default product template? Some themes have alternate product templates that need the personalizer block re-added. Check theme editor.
  4. Is your theme a Shopify 2.0 theme? Dawn, Refresh, Sense, Crave, Studio, Trade all support native app blocks. Legacy Debut / Brooklyn use fallback mode which should still work.
  5. Is the app blocked by a theme customization or code edit? Some themes have hardcoded product-form.liquid that skips app-rendered elements.
  6. Is the browser showing a cached version? Hard-refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) or open in incognito.
