Photo upload rejected — DPI / size / format errors

Error: 'Image resolution too low'

Cause: Photo is below Print It My Way's DPI threshold (100 DPI hard block, 150 DPI soft warning at print size).

Fix (customer): Upload a higher-resolution version. The original camera/phone photo (not a compressed messaging app version) usually works. Ask customer to save the original from iCloud/Google Photos, not a downloaded thumbnail.

Fix (merchant): Lower your DPI threshold in the Photo upload field if you're willing to accept lower quality. Not recommended for canvas prints or premium products.

Error: 'File too large'

Cause: File exceeds max size (10 MB default; up to 100 MB on Unlimited tier).

Fix (customer): Compress the photo using a free tool like TinyPNG or Squoosh, then re-upload.

Fix (merchant): Raise the max file size in the Photo upload field settings.

Error: 'Unsupported format'

Cause: File type not in your accepted formats list (e.g., customer uploaded WebP but only JPG/PNG accepted).

Fix (merchant): Add WebP + HEIC + PNG to accepted formats to catch most iPhone/Android photos.

Error: 'Upload timed out'

Cause: Slow customer connection + large file.

Fix (customer): Compress photo first, or try on a faster network (Wi-Fi vs cellular).
